The objective is not for one ASG unit to subcontract another. It is to combine local knowledge, relationships, capabilities, and opportunities across the network.

1. Discover

Find out what already exists across the ASG network.

Look for:

• related programs

• country capabilities

• university relationships

• government relationships

• faculty and practitioners

• existing research

• potential funders

• previous experience

You're done when: You know whether another part of ASG already has relevant capability or experience.

2. Connect

Bring the relevant people together.

Share enough context for the affiliate to understand the opportunity without presenting a finished plan.

You're done when: Both sides understand why the conversation might matter.

3. Explore

Look for complementary assets.

One affiliate might contribute relationships. Another might contribute faculty. Another might have a tested program. Another might have access to funding.

4. Combine

Design something that benefits from the network.

Avoid merely copying an initiative from one country to another.

Start the collaboration.

Feed experience back into the wider ASG network.

Document what traveled well, what required adaptation, and what other affiliates might use.
